This section of our website uses photos, videos, and documents to summarize the history of St. Joseph’s Seminary. Many of these items are in the archives of the Grand Rapids Diocese, located in The Sophia L. and Peter M. Wege Conference Center, or were provided by seminary alumni.

Saint Joseph’s Seminary: Personal and Historical Perspectives by Norbert Bufka (Class of 1961) provides the most comprehensive history of the seminary and is source of much of historical references in the website.
